Mechanics Lee Technology offers 3D CAD-based mechanical design, physical prototyping, and batch production services. For example:

  • Enclosures machined from solid aluminium for RF and Microwave circuits.
  • Electromechanical assemblies of gears, levers, and motors.
  • Mechanical assemblies of gears, levers, and motors.
  • Plastic parts and enclosures for electronics optimized for injection moulding.
  • Plastic parts and enclosures for electronics optimized for 3D printing.

  • The CAD models of mechanisms can be simulated for locus of movement clearance checks, correct operation, and to test for mechanical stresses and durability using Finite Element Analysis (FEA). We design for ease of manufacture, longevity of the design, and wherever possible, our products will be designed to be easy to recycle at the end of the product's life cycle.

    PCB We not only create the circuit schematics and the PCB layout, but we also create component libraries that include 3D models of each component. This means that a CAD model of the populated PCB can be imported into the mechanical CAD software, allowing for the enclosure moulding and other mechanical components and mechanisms to be clearance tested.
